The congress language is English.
Awards
The World Association of Perinatal Medicine honors the best oral presentation and poster presentation. The awards will be presented to the winner during the closing ceremony on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 12:30 pm–2:00 pm.
Accreditation
The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) and the Medical association of Berlin awards continuing education credits for the congress participants. The participation certificates can be allocated at the registration counter at the end of your congress visit. Please hold ready your bar code labels.

EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
Name badge
After you have been registered at the reception desk, you will be provided with a name badge which entitles you to participate at the congress. Please wear your name badge throughout the entire congress.
Message board
A message board is provided near the registration counter, on which organizers, as well as congress participants, can leave messages. Please do not post any advertising, as it will be removed.
Catering
Coffee breaks are included in the registration fee for conference participants (exception: accompanying persons). The catering stands are located at the ECC Foyer and the industrial exhibition.
During lunch time the Estrel Hotel offers a small variety for purchase of their great range. Please help yourself at the catering stands in the Foyer.
Restaurants
The Estrel Hotel offers a wide variety of culinary specialties from around the world. The restaurants are located around the lobby of the hotel.
Photographs
A photographer is taking photos of the participants throughout the conference and will offer these for purchase at the Foyer.
Letter of invitation
Letters of invitation will only be issued and forwarded to delegates that have registered and
fully paid the registration fee of the 9th World Congress of Perinatal Medicine. This invitation is issued for the purpose of facilitating travel and obtaining a visa and does not constitute any financial aid such as waived registration fee nor financial support for travel or accommodation. Any misuse of this document will be subject to legal action.
In order to register for the 9th World Congress of Perinatal Medicine scientific qualifications and scientific experience with perinatal medicine are necessary. Please provide an appropriate proof together with your registration.
Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorisation to attend the 9th World Congress of Perinatal Medicine should send an e-mail to
wcpm9@ctw-congress.de.
Please note that you need to have registered and paid your registration fee for the 9th World Congress of Perinatal Medicine before we can issue and send you a Letter of Invitation. Until you have registered and paid your registration fee we will not send you a Letter of Invitation. When you have registered and paid your fee we kindly ask you to make a new request for a Letter of Invitation.
