Instructions for oral presentations

To ensure the conference runs smoothly and fairly for all participants, please do not allow your presentation to run overtime. The chairs are instructed to strictly monitor the time and to interrupt the presentation if the speaking time is exceeded.

We recommend not using too many PowerPoint slides in the presentation. Please make sure to name all co-authors, as well as any others who contributed to your work. The only multimedia technology accepted is MS-PowerPoint.

No support is provided for overhead or slide projectors. All conference rooms are equipped with laptops and video/data projectors. Please note that using your own laptop is not permitted.

All presenters are requested to submit their presentation at least three hours before the start of their session to the media-check. If your session is in the morning, please submit your presentation the preceding evening.

For each speaker we reserved a seat in the first row. We kindly ask you to take part in the complete session and do not leave this prematurely.

Instructions for poster presentations

The poster boards are 90 cm wide and 132 cm high. Every poster board carries the poster number given in the program on the upper left corner. Please refer to the program for your poster number and the exact placement of your poster board. The material for mounting the posters will be supplied by the local organizers. No other material should be used.

Poster session I
The posters should be mounted by Sunday, October 25, 2009, 10:00 am and should be on display until Sunday evening, 7:30 pm. Please note that all posters which have not been removed on Sunday evening until 7:30 pm cannot be saved or sent back to the authors.

Poster session II
The posters should be mounted by Monday, October 26, 2009, 8:30 am and should be on display until Monday evening, 7:30 pm. Please note that all posters which have not been removed Sunday evening until 7:30 pm cannot be saved or sent back to the authors.

Poster session III
The posters should be mounted by Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 8:30 am and should be on display until Tuesday evening, 7:30 pm. Please note that all posters which have not been removed Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm cannot be saved or sent back to the authors.
